It’s mandatory for Archery GB licensed coaches to complete tutor-led safeguarding training as part of their licence and this training needs to be renewed every 3 years to ensure coaches maintain and keep their safeguarding skills and knowledge up to date.

AGB provide details of the relevant safeguarding courses available for coaches on their website and coaches are asked to ensure they take the recommended courses contained on the list for coaches.

Other safeguarding courses are available for welfare officers but these are not suitable for coaches who wish to renew their coaching licence.
