Hello fellow Welsh Archery Members
I am writing to let you know that due to the details in the WAA constitution, I must step down at this year’s AGM in September.
With this in mind, I would like you all to consider the future running of our Association and whether you or someone you know would be able to step into the role. I am giving this notice so that anyone interested can have a chat with me about what I do in the role of chairman.
Please remember that all people nominated must give their permission to be nominated and that the vote for the decision will be made at the AGM. Please do not send any nominations now, notice of how to nominate someone will be given at the appropriate time.
May I just say that this has been both a challenging and rewarding role. The pleasure I have had in helping our clubs and counties grow and bounce back after covid and seeing our archers develop their skills which in turn has led to increasing levels of success for our Welsh junior and senior teams cannot be understated.
Thank you all for your help and support over the last 10 years.
